 There are four different types of accommodation, and this choice goes some way to explaining the property's popularity, but we reckon one of the main attractions is the stunning pool area.
It's big, it's surrounded by extensive sun terraces (free sunloungers, of course), it boasts one of Figueretas' most desirable views over the bay towards the island of Formentera and the gay beach at Es Cavallet, and it's open to non-Cenit guests, which can be fun. There's also a handy poolside bar serving snacks as well as booze.
The flip side of this great view is that the Cenit is located up a hill, with the stroll down to the seafront bars coming in at about five minutes. This hill isn't exactly of Kilimanjaro proportions but it's still going to prove a bit tough if you're disabled or a bit unsteady on the old pins. Remember: five minutes downhill works out at rather more going back up again!
If you decide on the hotel option you'll be accommodated in a twin room with an ensuite bathroom and a balcony. Sadly, there aren't any double beds so please don't request one from us as a sharp kick to the tuchas often offends. This hotel option includes breakfast, as well as daily maid service and towel change, with your bedlinen changed three times a week.
Apartment accommodation is available in three different classifications of accommodation. Studios feature twin beds in a combined living/sleeping area, a sofabed for a third person (although this can end up being a bit of a squeeze), as well as a kitchenette, bathroom and balcony/terrace. Breakfast is not included on any of these apartment options.
The Cenit's two bedders come in two types: identical in every way apart from when it comes to your sleeping arrangements. Standard apartments have a twin room, a single room, a living room with a sofabed and a kitchenette, bathroom and balcony. The larger two bedders have two twin bedrooms plus a sofabed in the lounge, or one twin bedroom, two single rooms plus a sofabed, and therefore sleep up to five rather than their standard counterparts' four. Maid service in self catering accommodation takes place three times a week.
Whether you go for one of the hotel rooms or for apartment accommodation, you'll find the Cenit very comfortable, thoughtfully decorated and reassuringly kind to the wallet.
