 There are all sorts of ways these days of relieving stress. We all have our own favourite methods of unwinding - and often these include a nocturnal visit to a local gentleman's sauna. We reckon, though, that spending time in a wonderfully relaxing holiday environment is as good as any.
Step forward La Finca, a beautifully converted 400 year-old farmhouse and outbuildings which have been lovingly transformed in to an oasis of homocentric calm, yet only three kilometres (that's just under two miles, old timers) from the hubbub that is Ibiza Town; a good half hour walk but don't bother: the cab journey is cheap and takes just a few minutes.
As you've probably guessed, La Finca's unique design means that every one of the eight rooms is different, with their own individual furnishings, fixtures and fittings but all feature private bathrooms, air conditioning and daily maid service, with towels changed when you require and bedlinen changed at least once during a week or when you require. The focal point of La Finca is its magnificent pool; surrounded by sunloungers, dazzling flowers and erotic classical sculpture (yes, really), this is the place to bone up big time for your Masters Degree in Advanced Relaxation. There's a small outdoor bar which stays open just as long as anyone wants a drink (within reason) and a lavish buffet breakfast, included in the price of your holiday, is served until 1pm. These guys certainly know their guests...
You may well enjoy the exercise terrace and will undoubtedly love the sauna - also free of charge - but what sets La Finca apart from so many other places is the total commitment to the highest levels of personal service.
