 This recently refurbished, more-than comfortable property has always been popular among gay customers and, given its deserved four star status, offers excellent value for money without any compromise on quality. Actually, we've been known to stay there on occasion...and it's up to you whether or not you view that as a recommendation!
Located about five minutes from the seafront and a ten minute walk into town, the 116 room Antemare comprises a traditional older building and five modern annexes. Two swimming pools ensure that you can slip a length in whenever you fancy it and there's a large indoor bar, a poolside bar, a spacious, comfortable lounge and an attractive restaurant, which is where you'll eat your brekkie if you can be bothered to get out of bed in time.
The Antemare is ideal for those who want peaceful days without being too far from the town's vibrant nightlife.
This is an exceptionally popular hotel with our customers and we recommend that you book early, especially for the high season months.
A new, stylish decked terrace was installed a little while back, as was a rather jolly outdoor Jacuzzi. There are two swimming pools on site, a large, comfortable inside bar, a poolside bar and a lounge area. The restaurant is bright and spacious and breakfast, included in the price of your lovely holiday, comprises a hot and cold buffet. Reception is open 24/7. The general standard of decor is pretty high.
The Antemare also boasts an excellent health club and beauty centre where a small charge for some treatments may be applicable. These can be paid locally.
All the rooms at the Antemare are of an extremely good size and are air conditioned with an ensuite bathroom, a furnished balcony, satellite TV and a safe for hire. You’ve a choice of twins or doubles and, if you’re going solo, you'll receive a twin or double for sole use. Maid service takes place every day.
