 The La Quinta Roja hotel is a beautiful rural house located in Garachico, in the northwest area of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
The manor house of the Marquises of La Quinta Roja, in actuality the hotel "La Quinta Roja", constitutes an excellent example of the traditional baroque architecture of the Canary islands. Constructed in the 16th century, memories of the past live on inside its four walls. Covered balconies made of pinewood, coffered ceilings of an interior patio with balustrade and fountain, fibre armchairs conducive to resting peacefully ... parts of the charm still conserved in the red manor house.
Hotel "La Quinta Roja" is situated in the centre of Garachico, 60 km from the capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and next to the Convento de San Francisco, the house of the Condes de La Gomera, the city hall and the church of Santa Ana. You will marvel at the charm of this precious town of whitewashed houses and streets replete with churches, palaces and noble houses. Furthermore, Puerto de la Cruz, the famous municipality, is at only 30 km - you can easily get there thanks to public transport; there is a stop just in front of the hotel.
