Directions
The Grand Resort and Spa is ideally located 1 ½ blocks from the warm sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach at the intersection of Windamar and North Birch Road between Sunrise Boulevard and Las Olas Boulevard.

Exit airport to US1 heading North. Follow US1 North until it merges with Sunrise Boulevard. Follow Sunrise Boulevard (toward beaches ) going over the Intracoastal Waterway to A1A. Turn right (South) on A1A to Windamar Street (one block past Terramar Street). Turn right and proceed two short blocks to North Birch Road. The Grand Resort and Spa will be directly in front of you.

From Miami International Airport
Follow signs out of Airport to Interstate 95. Head North on 95 to Sunrise Boulevard, exiting at the Sunrise Boulevard East exit. Continue East on Sunrise Boulevard following signs to the beach, going over the Intracoastal Waterway to A1A. Turn right (South) on A1A to Windamar Street (one block South of Terramar Street.) Turn right and proceed two short blocks to North Birch Road. The Grand Resort and Spa will be directly in front of you.

From Interstate 95 and Florida's Turnpike
Exit at Sunrise Boulevard heading East. Continue heading East on Sunrise Boulevard going over the Intracoastal Waterway to A1A. Each morning begins with a complimentary expanded Continental Breakfast served in our Club Room or Poolside. We offer assorted juices, freshly brewed coffee, tea, hot chocolate, muffins, Danish, bagels with cream cheese and assorted cereals.

Make use of our fast access Guest Computers in The Club Room to surf the net, check your e-mail or verify travel arrangements. Use your own laptop with our Wi-Fi network throughout the Resort. Our library of books, current magazines, newspapers, videos and games are also available for your pleasure.

The resort offers complimentary off-street parking (limited to one car per room) in three parking lots – one in front on N. Birch Rd. and two in back on Orton Ave. In addition, there is free on-street parking on Orton Ave.

The center of the gay community is Wilton Manors, about 15 minutes by car from the beach (about 7 miles); however, gay nightlife (bars and restaurants) is sprinkled throughout Ft. Lauderdale, as are the many shopping venues. Taxis are readily available if you are not renting a car. A car is almost a necessity, however, if you want to take in all that the Ft Lauderdale area has to offer.

Our spacious, meticulously clean accommodations feature cable TV, VCR's, DVDs, Hi-Fi CD Music Systems, Voice Mail, irons and ironing boards, safes, hairdryer, refrigerator, gourmet pantry, microwave and coffeemaker. Wireless internet access is available throughout the resort. We offer a plentiful selection of fine soaps, shampoo and bath amenities as well as comfortable robes for lounging.

Spot or Fluffy, Princess or Natasha…. The Grand Resort and Spa welcomes and caters to your favorite friend. Your pet is part of your family, so feel free to bring your special family member (dog or cat) along!

We have set aside 3 of our 1 and 2 Bedroom Suites for our guests who wish to bring their pet along. Each suite has a private patio with ample area for "business matters."

The Grand Resort and Spa believes your furry friend deserves to be pampered as much as you do, so upon check-in, you will find a special gift basket in your suite just for your pet that includes:
• Food and water bowls
• Gourmet treats
• Clean-up bags (for the dogs)
• Disposable litter pans (for the cats)
• A special toy (with catnip for the cats)
• Bottled water

We allow two pets per suite not to exceed 35 lbs each. A $500 deposit is placed against your account at check-in (just in case there are any boo-boo's), and there is a $25/night/pet surcharge. Certain rules apply to make everyone's stay enjoyable and safe.

As we have a VERY limited number of pet-friendly rooms, advance arrangements MUST be made in order to accommodate guests traveling with pets.

Should you arrive without prior arrangements for your pet, we may not be able to accommodate your stay, and your deposit will be forfeited.



The Spa at The Grand Resort
The Spa at The Grand Resort has been named one of the ten best gay-owned spas by OutTraveler Magazine (Spring 2008).

Our Spa provides customized and specialty facials, body wraps, body scrubs, massages, manicures and pedicures, waxing, derm-abrasion, and hair styling services.

Booking your Spa appointments in advance is strongly recommended. As a courtesy to other guests and to our therapists, we strictly adhere to the Spa Cancellation Policy:
* If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please notify us 4 hours in advance to avoid being charged 50% of your services.
* For Package cancellations, please notify us 24 hours in advance.

We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointments to be shown around, fill out any necessary consultation information, or just to settle in. Remember, your service will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed, regardless of how late you begin.

For Spa guests who are not staying at The Grand Resort and Spa, we offer use of the resort grounds on the day of your services. This includes use of our 10-man hot tub in the clothing optional area, heated lap-size swimming pool (not clothing optional), sun decks, club room with computers, wireless computer connectivity, and fitness room. Sorry, we do not offer day passes.

The Spa offers lockers with locks to outside guests to keep clothing in during your stay at the Spa. You will be offered robes, towels, and refreshments to make your visit more enjoyable.

If you should have any physical ailments, disabilities, or allergies, please notify us when booking your appointments, as well as alerting your therapist at the time of your services.

Sometimes there is a question about disrobing and what is proper. We want you to be comfortable during your services; therefore, we leave it up to the guest and what the guest feels is proper. We provide draping as a way of maintaining your modesty, if that is what you prefer. You may also leave on any swimsuit or undergarment your feel necessary. Your comfort in modesty as well as surroundings is imperative to your experience.

To ensure that you and those around you reap the full benefits of the spa experience, we suggest the following:
* Please communicate any requests for a specific therapist at the time of booking.
* The Spa atmosphere is one of tranquility and relaxation, so please respect the other guests' right to privacy and quiet. Cell phones should be turned off or to vibrate and should not be used inside The Spa.

PACKAGE RATES FOR OUR POOLVIEW GUESTROOMS, JUNIOR SUITES, ONE AND TWO BEDROOM SUITES, OR ONE AND TWO BEDROOM PENTHOUSE SUITES ARE AVAILABLE.

Package is valid for single/double occupancy only except for 2 bedroom suites. Not valid over Holidays, Holiday Weekends or Special Events and subject to minimum length stay requirements.

Deposit & Cancellation Policy for Packages: A full deposit (100% of the package price) is required at the time of booking. The deposit is refundable if canceled at least 14 days prior to your arrival date less a $50.00 administrative fee. 25% of deposit is forfeited if canceled within 14 days of arrival date. Package pricing includes tax. Gratuities excluded.
